Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant
We are North Idaho's premiere spine surgery and interventional pain management practice. We are committed to offering a caring and comprehensive approach to spine care, and we're in need of a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant position within Axis Spine Center is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective and quality patient centered care in the clinical setting for all patient populations. The MA supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and will do the following:
- Record documentation in the EMR, gathering medical information for the patient’s visit
- Educate new patients to policies and procedures
- Collect vital signs from each patient
- Communicate with patients and schedule patient appointments, as necessary
- Obtain authorizations for patient visits & procedures, as necessary
- Undergo training as requested by supervisor
- Bring all concerns regarding patient care to supervisor
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
