Joshua Dolan

Joshua Dolan, PA-C

Joshua Dolan is a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) at Northwest Specialty Hospital. With a strong foundation in respiratory therapy and a comprehensive education from the University of Washington Medex program, Joshua brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role.

Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Joshua served as a Lead Respiratory Therapist at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, ID, where he provided expert care and leadership in the Respiratory Department. His responsibilities included managing daily assignments, solving departmental issues, and acting as a liaison between the Respiratory Department and Physicians. He also has significant experience from his time at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, where he managed mechanical ventilators, provided emergency care, and administered treatments for patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions.

Joshua's clinical skills are complemented by his strong organizational abilities, teamwork, and keen clinical judgment. He is proficient in various essential medical procedures, including intubation, airway management, and tracheostomy care, making him a vital asset to the healthcare team at Northwest Specialty Hospital.

In addition to his professional expertise, Joshua is an active member of the Coeur d'Alene Triathlon Club and the American Association of Respiratory Care. His commitment to the community is further highlighted by his selection to represent the Health Science Department at Priority Spokane, where he delivered a speech on advancing educational opportunities for Respiratory Therapists.

Joshua holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from Boise State University. He also earned an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from Spokane Community College, where he was recognized for his academic excellence and leadership.
